Volvo Penta D13 MH IMO III is a variable-speed, in-line 6-cylinder, 12.8-liter direct-injected marine diesel auxiliary engine with a twin-entry turbo and aftercooler. It’s designed to handle high back pressure and high-sulfur fuel (1,000 ppm). The SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) exhaust aftertreatment system is designed for an optimal fit. The SCR unit, which also functions as a silencer, reduces noise by 35-40 dBA. IMO III and Inland Waterway Stage V exhaust emission standards are met while maintaining consistent fuel consumption. Thanks to the SCR system, the engine power output remains unchanged.
