2026 Phase Five Boards Chopstick 

The Phase Five Chopstick is a brand new addition to our foil offering and it’s designed to be an aggressive riding board for technical foil riding. Designed by John Akerman, it’s sleek outline features a squash tail and ultra pulled-in pin nose helps give the board extra sensitivity when making sharp turns. It’s unique design to the foil world and excited to see how it performs on the market. This tough foil board is glassed with our high end X-TUFF Foil system for unmatched strength and durability. The Phase Five Chopstick utilizes an adjustable 10.75” long reinforced track mount system for the foil.

Build Material

FlexTec V2 has been the staple construction technique in P5 surf style boards for the past few years. The FlexTec V2 layup schedule features a full Innegra bottom sheet with a carbon stringer along with a full Innegra top sheet combined with a carbon stringer and carbon vector netting. This combination of glass and epoxy resin provides an ultra strong surf style board that is built to outlast the competition.

Foil Packages

• The Phase Five Nova Foil package is designed to make hydrofoiling user-friendly, approachable and fun in a wide range of wave conditions. The package delivers the best of both worlds with plenty of lift and early takeoff for catching even the smallest rolling waves yet holds ample speed and glide to stay connected to the wave energy. The magic is in the 760 Front Wing, which has a large, low-aspect shape incorporating an Inverted Gull Wing outline that gives it much better top-end speed and easy to engage pumping performance than many foils of similar size and surface area.
• The Nova V2 has an upgraded design to make foiling as easy as possible for every rider of every ability. Built to cruise, our medium-aspect, carbon-fiber front wings will get you up on foil early with confidence increasing overall lift and stability. Lightweight carbon front and rear wing finish. The Nova V2 aluminum mast is made from light and strong 7075 aircraft-grade aluminum. Aluminum alloy fuselage with 2 front wing position options. Titanium hardware kit for reducing corrosion. Comes with neoprene wing covers and compartmentalized carry case.
• The Phase Five Super Nova foil is the ultimate high performance, lightweight package for experienced foilers. The plate, mast, and fuselage are all one piece. The advantages of one-piece construction are increased stiffness, superior strength, no weak points around connections and less metal parts. Built with 100% epoxy infused carbon fiber for the most light weight high quality process. The front and rear wings are CNC shaped PVC cores with outer skins of 100% carbon. It is designed with simplicity in mind and straightforward to assemble. The front and back foils attach to the fuselage with one screw, simple.
