Find Rivers' Flow with the Current
The newly crowned 3-peat LAO Champ has been turning heads for a while, so when we decided to make a high-end park board, we naturally wanted to work with Rivers. With help from Jimmy and our ADI program, Rivers went through more prototypes than anyone to date, but the result is awesome! The Current is responsive underfoot and pressable through the tip thanks to a CNC’d topsheet. CNC'd structure left in the deck keeps it poppy and responsive while maintaining flex for every press.

The current features redesigned curved channels to maximize your surface area for stable slides but making board release easily for rail-to-rail transfer ease. A grab rail rounds things up to make tweaks and boned grabs effortless. Just like Rivers, this board brings the vibes and backs it up with performance.

CNC'D DECK

• Recessed flex zones in the tip and tail reduce weight and increase responsiveness. Includes a grab rail at Rivers' request.

CURVED CHANNELS

• Traditional channels run parallel to the boards profile, but LF's new curved channels match the curved profile of the boards edge - while sill providing optimal edge hold. Grip where you need it and easy release for better slides on features.

CONTROL BASE

• Designed to slide! Predictable control from larger flat zone underfoot. Sliders easier with less hang-ups, and extremely durable with no "quick-burn".

• Gavin and Rivers both wanted to push our R&D Team to take a leap of faith and evolve how our cable boards reacted not only on the water, but more importantly on features! The new Curved Molded Channels fully unlocks your park board's true potential. Featured only on the Grail and Current, their curved molded channels hug the profile of the board's heel-side and toe-side edges - providing you incredible grip while on-edge as you navigate through your local park's feature setup.

Control Base

• Redefining how your board reacts on water and equally as important - on features! With valued input from Rivers, Gavin, and Matty...the LF R&D Team have devised a brand new base profile for 2026. The Control Base slides incredibly easy on features with minimized hang-ups. The oversized flat zone gives riders predictable control while in presses or lip slides.

Flextrack™

• We created our Flextrack™ to allow the insert bar to be able to twist, flex and move while riding to allow the board to flex naturally, the way it was designed to. This industry first tech gives the best board to binding connection with no heel/toe lift when used with our 4D™ bindings. The perfect partner for any of our 4D™ bindings and fits any 4D™ or 6' spread binding with unlimited stance options.
